Happy New Year! As 2016 comes to a close, it is with pride that we celebrate Kentucky State University (KSU) on another successful year. Many of our enriching programs honored KSU鈥檚 rich and illustrious history.
KSU鈥檚 landmark 130th Anniversary in 2016 set the tone for some of the University鈥檚 achievements. Some of our noteworthy accomplishments include increased enrollment and retention, a balanced budget, stronger bonds with our P-12 family and other local civic organizations, and offering textbook scholarships to all of our students. We also were honored to have world-renowned artist Synthia SAINT-JAMES commemorate KSU鈥檚 milestone with a spectacular, eye-catching painting which captured the spirit of the University.
KSU鈥檚 successes were made possible due to the hard work and dedication of our faculty, staff, students, alumni, volunteers and members of the community. 2016 has shown that KSU is on a steady trajectory upward that will help us to continue to race toward our brightest future.
