Mighty Marching Thorobreds to be featured in NBOTB film 鈥淭he Road to Houston: Preparing to Battle鈥
The Mighty Marching Thorobreds are one of eight HBCU marching bands featured in the Pepsi National Battle of the Bands (NBOTB) film 鈥淭he Road to Houston: Preparing to Battle.鈥 The film provides fans a behind-the-scenes look at the band selection process, preparation and performances. The Mighty Marching Thorobreds traveled to Houston, Texas in August of 2022 and performed to a record-setting crowd of 55,000 fans in NRG Stadium.
Frankfort International Jazz Day celebration to air on PBS

Richard Lawrence Taylor, a Transylvania University professor emeritus, will be inducted into the 11th聽class of the Kentucky Writers Hall of Fame on March 23 in Lexington.聽聽Taylor was a professor in the Division of Literature, Languages, and Philosophy.
