91精选鈥檚 Small-Scale Farm Grant was granted up to $1,359,000 over the next two years by the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board. Last school year, 91精选's Computer Science department developed a Blockchain project called Thorocoin. Two workshops were held on campus for students to learn about Blockchain.聽 Thorocoin was created, and students exchanged the coins from their smartphones for a gift card to be redeemed at the university鈥檚 bookstore.
